Robert Duerr has professionally written about Hawaii outdoors since 1985. Bob is a member of the Outdoor Writers of America Association, and writes a monthly column in Hawaii Fishing News. He has been published in magazines such as Marlin Magazine, National Fisherman, Outdoor Life, North American Hunter, Surfer, Surfing, Paddler, The Cousteau Society, and Pacific Business News. His work has also been seen on The Outdoor Life Network.
Robert is married to his film editor wife, Betsy. The couple has five children: Sasha, Lissa, Cael, Kit and Martha.
